High school diploma or equivalent or better.
Ability to type 50 corrected words per minute (Requires 7+).
Quite at ease with computer word processing (Requires 7+).
Being the best at what you do is a high priority.
Feel working in healthcare will bring you great satisfaction.
Can work at home without distractions that can affect the speed and accuracy required for Medical Transcription.
Conscientious about delivering work on time.
Able to maintain a high level of concentration for extended periods.
Patience to deal with work that may get monotonous and repetitive.

A score of 80 or more is a good indication your time and expense will not be wasted pursuing an MT career – and you possess the qualities needed to master the MT training to become a successful work-at-home MT.
